Thanksgiving leftovers, sports media style

Gerry Callahan is the ugly echo of Boston’s violent racist past. The fact the he occupies the position he occupies at the center of Boston sports media shows that there’s a large segment of the population that still takes a perverse pride in that legacy. As the nation in general heads back to the 50s, Callahan–the ultimate blond kid–should feel more and more like he owns the place.
