Bird and Parcells fall far and fast
As a child and through to today, I have raised few sports stars to the level of idols. Thankfully, my heroes were more tangible, mother, father, uncles, aunts and cousins. Two men, however, are exceptions, Larry Bird and Bill Parcells.
Indeed, the way each handles himself under the bright lights of the press plays a key role. Bird always carries that Cheshire Cat grin. He tolerates reporters, but you get the sense that he
