Regarding the Red Sox rainout bashing: are you kidding me? I leave work early and drive in to the Fenway to wait for a game that is not going to happen? I heard Larry Lucchino on WEEI say that they were in touch with the National Weather Service and they indicated there was a window of no precipation. You’re telling me that they couldn’t tune in Chs. 4,5,7,25,56 and the Weather Channel and not deduce that the night was a washout? As it did not rain from 5-7 that evening, why wasn’t the tarp taken off and the field ready if there was this “window” to play the game? Get a clue John.
